One of my favourite things to do on the weekend is go to the Union Square Market. One, it’s in a beautiful part of the city and two, the produce is absolutely fantastic!

In about the length of a city block you can get anything from king crab, lilacs and real maple syrup, all fresh and mostly local. The prices are fair, the vendors are kind and the samples, oh the samples…

Music plays from every corner of the park, there are scents of New Jersey strawberries and warm sour dough bread in the air and a wide variety of personalities to watch while you sit in the shade and enjoy a cold cup of apple cider.
