This past Sunday my husband, Erick, and I were on our way to Whole Foods in TriBeCa when we noticed a huge bright red food truck. Not having a clue what was being sold we were instantly intrigued.
We were pleasantly surprised to find out it was lobster roll Mecca. For a resonable $23, I stuck with the classic lobster roll simply seasoned, tossed in mayo and loaded onto a buttery brioche roll and Erick, the spicey food lover he is, chose the jalapeño lobster roll. Also, there were an array of sides such as potatoe salad and mac n’ cheese.
It definitely hit the spot and received an immediate follow on Twitter so the next time I get a hankering for lobster I know exactly whe to go.
